Recovery Happens Outpatient Rehab Goals
The goals of Recovery Happens Outpatient Programs are to establish sobriety and psychosocial supports, coping strategies and facilitate relapse prevention.
We focus on identifying and resolving the underlying root causes that drive addiction and destructive patterns. Our whole person dual diagnosis treatment includes Conscious Recovery and provides clear steps for letting go of core false beliefs that lead to addictive tendencies. Whether it is unresolved trauma, spiritual disconnection, or toxic shame – these challenges need to be addressed in order to achieve sobriety and permanent freedom from addiction.
The Recovery Happens Alumni Programs provide continuing care and support.
Outpatient Program graduates are welcome to attend our Alumni Groups and IOP Intensive Outpatient Program, as needed, for life.

Recovery Happens Day Treatment Outpatient (PHP)
PHP Minimum Attendance Requirement: 6 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Customized treatment plans are developed for each client.
MAT Medication-Assisted Therapy Available for Opioid Addiction Recovery
PHP Partial Hospitalization Programs are sometimes known as “day rehab”.
This program provides intensive treatment while allowing spending evenings at home.
PHP is a good choice for individuals:
• With a higher chance of relapse.
• Who have had previous severe episodes of addiction and/or overdose.
• Who are unsure about managing their cravings.
• Anyone who is more comfortable with additional support and treatment.
However, the Partial Hospitalization Program PHP is not right for everyone.
• Not recommended for those still actively using drugs and alcohol; or anyone needing supervised medical detox.
• Not recommended for anyone in an environment that encourage substance abuse.

Major Differences between our PHP Outpatient Program
and Residential Rehab Treatment:
• The partial hospitalization program has a structured – but less restricted – rehab experience.
• PHP is designed for those who do not meet the medical necessity for a higher level of care.
Our PHP patients have access to therapy, counseling, and aftercare support for a minimum of six hours per day, five days per week. PHP treatment is in a clinical setting that includes several types of therapy, addiction education, support groups, alumni groups and medication management.
Completion of residential rehab treatment is not required for participation in our Partial Hospitalization Program. However, many individuals find that PHP is an ideal transition from residential rehab treatment to independent living.
Recovery Happens Partial Hospitalization Program PHP treatment includes a variety of evidence-based modalities that address the patient’s substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health issues (dual diagnosis).
The Recovery Happens clinical team designs an individualized treatment plan that comprehensively addresses the addiction and mental health needs of each PHP patient.
PHP Patients participate in group therapy that includes:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Sensory Modulation
• Mindfulness Training
• Individual and Family Therapy

Recovery Happens Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
IOP Minimum Attendance Requirement: 9 hours per week, 3 hours per session.
Morning, Day and Evening Sessions Available.
Customized treatment plans are developed for each client.
MAT Medication-Assisted Therapy Available for Opioid Addiction Recovery
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at New Start Recovery Solutions is designed to offer flexibility for our clients who must balance their recovery with work or school commitments. IOP groups are offered daily. Morning, afternoon, and evening times are available.
IOP is a good choice for individuals:
• With alcohol or drug use disorders (including dual diagnosis).
• Who do not require medical detox.
• Who do not require 24-hour supervision.
Intensive Outpatient Program groups at New Start Recovery Solutions are led by Master’s level therapists with extensive experience supporting addiction recovery. Our IOP intensive outpatient program is part of our complete continuum of care for those with substance use issues.
In addition to group sessions, each client meets with a counselor each week to individualize their treatment experience.
Goals of our IOP program include helping each patient learn to manage their behaviors, emotions, and thinking in order to prevent relapse from occurring.
Recovery Happens Alumni programs provide continuing care and support. Our IOP Intensive Outpatient Program graduates are also welcome to attend the IOP Program, as needed, for life.
However, the Intensive Outpatient Program IOP is not right for everyone.
• Not recommended for those still actively using drugs and alcohol; or anyone needing medical detox.
• Not recommended for anyone in an environment that encourages substance abuse.

Additional IOP Outpatient Program Benefits
Additional recovery resiliency components in our intensive outpatient program include a rotating six-week Brainspotting and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) curriculum.
These sessions include a mix of traditional and collegiate clients.
Group participants focus on the following six specific areas during treatment:

Same Day Detox Admissions
Outpatient Rehabs and Residential Rehabs

Virtual IOP – Intensive Outpatient Program via Telehealth
Recovery Happens Virtual IOP is an insurance-eligible way for clients to replicate our face-to-face patient care experience in every way.
By using a smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer, or any device with an Internet connection and camera – individuals can participate in IOP sessions from the convenience of home.
In addition to the program’s easy-to-use and accessible video conferencing platform, our virtual systems comply with federal and state health care privacy regulations. Our program meets HIPAA-compliant telemedicine standards.
MAT Medication-Assisted Therapy is available as a part of our Virtual IOP programs.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Available
Recovery Happens IOP – Virtual or In-Person Treatment
MAT Medication-Assisted Therapy is available as a part of our IOP programs – virtual or in-person IOP.
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). MAT programs are clinically driven and tailored to meet each patient’s needs.
Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorders. For some individuals struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery. MAT is also used to prevent or reduce opioid overdose.
MAT is used for the treatment of addiction to opioids such as heroin and prescription pain relievers. MAT is also effective for treating addiction to alcohol.
Recovery Happens Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabs are a part
of Sierra Health and Wellness Centers.
